Ceasar was the greatest man to ever live. only contested by Alexander. he founded the empire that has so greatly influenced our modern society; war, economy, exc... If rome had remained a Republic than it would not have been nearly strong enough. Ceasar was brutal to his foes. but they were just as brutal. If he had not been assassinated he could have easily been the greatest man to ever live.

@squamish4244 look back than and look now, u dont see men now who honor wat they do, u dont see a child carrying his bag to school and then whine about how heavy the bag is, sure, they lived deadly lives back then and i agree, but if u were a soldier u shouldnt get married until u retired from the Roman Army

@militarygrunt589 Hell no. Constant wars, famines, epidemics, and lots of those tough Roman soldiers died in their tens of thousands even at the peak of Rome's power. You were lucky if half your children lived. Or if your wife survived childbirth. Other than that, great!
