I want to end with this...I was saved at 17 years of age..I am now 36. I have never spoken in a tongue, nor will i ever...Why? Because it doesnt exist....

I have been told many strange things like "well you cant be a Christian, or you just have never achieved a higher plane of Christianity that we are on."

Thank God my salvation does not depend on those things, but on the Precious Blood of Christ that was shed for ME at Calvary.

Thanks for posting this information. So much truth is explained here which speaks as an indictment against modern sentimental biblically bereft Christianity. We have traded spiritual truth for spiritual feeling and in consequence have made a pact with the devil to undermine the work of Jesus.

@ajsenn Gifts dont save nobody, And I`ve never spoken Tongues but I believer, I saw people speak tongues At the church, But im not saint by not speaking tongues or by speaking. And I feel Well God Knows my heart... Sorry for my terrible english

@prairiemark There is a real gift of tongues where a person talks to God (unlike Acts where the speaker is talking to humans). Even in the early Church there were problems in discerning what was real tongues and what was false.Bishop Irenaues (AD 170) went to Rome to visit the Head Bishop concerning an outbreaking of speaking in tongues that was not consistant with past exercise of the gift.It was difficult for them to tell what was real and what was false,but they never condemned Gods gifts.

Whenever God does something, then Satan will do counterfeit. This is about the only true thing John says here. Paul said...he that speaks in tongues speaks to God 1Cor 14:2...This is true in any translation...yet John MacArthur says contrary to any credible Bible translator it should say "He that speaks in tongues peaks to a false God.....MacArthur inserts the word "false" to make it fit his theology..however dishonest it is..

Did not Paul say that he spoke in tongues more then everyone & that speaking in tongues is the Holy Spirit speaking? Just wondering where I heard that?

having gone to churches like ones in video I can guarantee you all these churches are counterfeit , run by Satanists and witches whose job is to destroy any real move of the Holy Spirit and decieve anyone seekin the Lord Jesus Christ !

@ajsenn God bless you. I am pleased to hear that you're name is written in the book of life. Whoever told you that you're are not a Christian if you don't speak in tongues was in era. To speak in tongues is one of the signs of being filled with the Holy Spirit. If you carefully read Acts 6, you'll find that once they ere were filled with Holy Spirit, they received power to witness. Be careful. When you say that it doesn't exist, you find yourself saying that what is written is a lie.
