  • @danloth A gas station on a bridge doesn't sound like a great idea. It's 26 miles, and for most cars that's about 1 gallon of gas. Some highways in America go 50 miles before reaching a gas station. The Dalton highway in Alaska goes 248 miles without a gas station.

  • can they allow to make a fishing in middle of the bridge? damn i think its a good spot i love fishing =)

  • they should have used these billions for all the poor asses in china working their arse of for nothing, dying from cancer or other stuff that was caused by miserable employing circumstances. but no, rather take it from them to build a billion dollar monument. great, we love u china!

  • @danloth If you go out driving not knowing you have less than 26 miles of fuel, you are an idiot.

  • @keichan22 Yes, because using taxpayer money to build giant monuments signifies superpower status.

  • @andyrooney12 hows this for a road trip in the summer next 2012 my friend and I who are British and live in London are driving from London UK all the way to this bridge in China. Its for a chartity but Im driving my Toyota Celica all across Europe and heading through Russia. Were sorting out our visa's now but should be fun. Just decided to do an adventure and came up with this after watching Top Gear where they do their special's

Oh our infrastructure is shit. All over California & other parts of the country there are signs on the side of roads & freeways that read something along the lines of "Funded by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act". The problem is that ALL of those signs are next to heavy construction equipment that have NOT been used in months. The law that was passed was supposed to improve infrastructure but just like other classic Washington D.C. failures, this one is just another joke.

  • @andyrooney12 we have these roads in the uk, 3 car lanes, 1 emergency lane each side, theyre called motorways, we have many thousands of miles of them, I thought california was the 1st world, not the 3rd ;)

  • Only in China ppl..
