The newer version shouldn't even be compared to this crap. 1, Josh Hutcherson and AnnaSophia Robb are amazing at acting, and when they worked together it was just fantastic. 2, there's wayy more emotion in the newer one. 3, God damnit, it just beats the old version, simple as that.
