Well, in Penumbra Overture, You can atleast Kill enimies with the Pickaxe, I don't think you can kill enemies in Black Plauge, and You obviously can't kill enemies in Requiem Or...*Shivers*...Amnesia...

This song makes me think of Clock Tower: The First Fear...my first REAL horror game. After seeing some gameplay videos...I think penumbra is inspired by Clock Tower. Because of it's puzzles and the way you have to hide from monsters. Both Clock Tower and Penumbra are almost never heard of. Bring it up in a conversation and all you'll hear is: What's that? And: Never heard of it.

Random scares like the scissorman and partial interactivity in Clock Tower series made it great and player had to stay on toes all the time. Penumbra has lots of elements from games like Alone in the Dark and such except that it has first person camera.
