INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY! Nobody at that level gives a shit about "democracy". The democratic US has no problem supporting dictatorships all over the globe. Take your head out of your ass and ditch those idiotic delusions you are having, please.

  • @Chesteraptor Who said all i own is a shotgun? And besides if you read what i said, i was referring to me, and the rest of the Infantry unit i serve with in the National Guard, and believe me, we have a lot more than shot guns. troll harder bro

ummm, USSR stands for Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

"Small vessels?" LOL. The Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force is one of the largest and most powerful navies on the planet. Evne at its height, the soviet navy would have only "wiped them out" at the cost of seeing their own force reduced to a bled-out husk unable to carry out any major operations without years of recovery.

Though your post was made 2 months ago, I'd like to add. I agree with You. Actually I believe that dislike between russians and americans was intentionally driven by our governments. "Commies" or "imperialists" - all of that nonsense was invented by intelligence organizations so we hate each other and go to war if there is one. No one cares about us, what Obama is doing in the US is another proof no one cares about democracy. Same as in here.

  • @prussianhill Japan doesn't have a military or a navy. They have a defense force with small vessels. The Soviet Submarines and Battleships could easily wipe them out. The Soviets have the largest submarine ever made also that can hide in the Arctic Ice Caps.

  • no dallas :C

  • I think its quite plausible-after all, it didn't say that Russian patriotism collapsed, instead merely that they were shocked to have suffered an incursion into their territory. Only part that I have a problem with was the Soviet ability to be able to invade Seattle. Even if the US pacific fleet is redeployed to the atlantic, the Soviets would still have needed to reckon with the Japanese navy.

  • NATO vs Warsaw pact

  • The story is extremely plausible, but I they underestimated Russian patriotism, how the fuck would the image of the fatherland crumble if some small platoons of nato infiltrate it, I mean the Americans didnt give up after the Russian invasion either.
