No guy, doesn't work in stereo3D, cause you have only one single view - for a S3D video you need TWO views - one for each eye recorded using TWO cameras. By adding the yt3d tag to a 2D video YT will NOT convert your 2D video to S3D it does only the following: cut the video in two parts and use one part for the left and right view and displays/mixes them to a '3D' view according to the 3D selection which cannot work for a 2D video cause there are NO corresponing points which can be fused to S3D!
