@othx11 Hi there - Mendelssohn wrote the soprano part for Jenny Lind, a soprano known for larger roles such as Agathe in Der Freischutz. It's generally sung by much larger voices than the young lady in this video, I should imagine because of the need to play an older woman as "The Widow" in part one of Elijah.
I could hear the different inflections that you imposed in the areas specified. You made the song sound like it had three movements. I am studying your performance, and hope to do half as well as you did. Not many are blessed with a talent as pure as yours.
Sublime!! congratulations! great singer...

What a beautiful, pure tone you have! Perfect for the 'youth' that Mendelssohn specifies. It isn't thin at all, but clear and vibrant.

With microphone enhancement, flatness and a lack of emotion, the technique needs training. It would wise to listen to Erna Berger

Just lovely. I had to put down my donut to tear up.

Beautiful voice, but there didn't seem to be a lot of emotion behind the text of the song.

Great voice, there just didn't seem to be any emotion behind the words.
