  • LOVE THIS SONG...OLD SCHOOL GUAM DAYS...BIBA GUAM....FIESTA TIME..CHACHA..

  • @birdonamission LMFAO ..... thanks for the translation..

  • this is a great song. however, FYI the melody of this song comes from the great Marty Robbins hit song "Devil Woman". ask any chamorro elder and they will agree.

also the word "Pendeha" is Spanish meaning: Stupid.

    original artist is Candy Taman.

  • I love this song...very catchy, both the lyrics and the melody. :-) For those who don't understand the Chamorro language, spoken in Guam and the Northern Marianas -- "Amerikan'un Pao Asu," loosely translated as "phony American" -- is about a vain ("banidosa") woman who thinks she thinks she's "all that," acting like she's some smoking-hot diva from America at the expense of her Chamorro identity and culture. Nothing wrong with American identity or culture, but please. :-D

  • this song makes me wanna dance cha cha... gosh. remembering the partys in Guam....

  • wat u think
