The part at1:35 almost makes me break down. You can just feel his sadness come through Stella.

Just to add; It's got that 'lonesome' quality that evokes the kind of feeling you get when you loose someone and you are forced to accept the reality that ain't never coming back and they will henceforth only exist as a memory.Such a simple song conveys a powerful message, but soothes at the same time as the tune weaves a cocoon and the voices give you strength to face the truth.

Can't help shedding a tear when I hear this Leadbelly / Josh White song. It's simple, moving and heartfelt and when music hits you like that you know it's good. Thanks or posting this.
