@NotARacistRapist To bad you have not heard of them before, because Charles Darwin knew about them, when the Beagle sailed around the Straits of Magellan, on its way to the Galapagos Islands. So there is a very strong English connection to them. If you can, go the British Museum on Natural History.

It is an unusual looking deer, that just happens to be the national animal of Chile. But it is letting us know about the endangered animals of Chile and Argentina, because it is an area of South America that we just do not hear too much about. Darwin fox is another one, that is critically endangered. So look below the Amazon, there is more in South America.
