  • Just Googled "ExcelisFun" and see the link to Microsoft Help. I provided some feedback regarding compensation to you Mike. You do all the work and they benefit from it by linking people to you versus MS doing their own work.

  • Thanks krn14242!! MS did contact me and said they were sorry for not letting me know that their internal Help menu pointed to my videos - it is not just a google link, if you are in Excel and use there Help to search for "formulas" and your help is connected to online, my videos will be listed.

  • I had a feeling you didn't! Seemed like something you would have proudly mentioned in a video! By typing in "Excelisfun" in google it came up with the link below. I'm not sure how many others they have linked other than this one. They do credit you, but they require approval. For some reason it wont let me post the link, check your email.

  • Thanks, I'll check my e-mail.

  • No. I had no idea. Tell me what and where they are linking.

Microsoft usually treats me with indifference or near contempt, so I am quite surprised.

  • @ExcelIsFun by the way, did you know that microsoft links to your tutorials now??? :)

  • Yes, to understand this video, you would have had to study Excel quite a lot. For example, Video 777 has A LOT of new concepts and you must understand all the concepts from that video before getting to this video. But here is the good news:

If something is hard to learn, it is because the thing you are learning is filled with many new ideas. This means if you fight through all the new ideas and assimilate them into your head, you have won the battle and gained great new knowledge!!

  • I am glad that you like it!

  • You are welcome!
