If you actually look through history during that time, Japanese shows were copying idea's from each other. 5-6 member group using machines to fight giant monsters. Yeah, that concept went off to create Valtron and Super Sentai/Power Rangers. You said goodbye at the end because you wanted to end it.... just like a GEEKO who's into the show but has no knowledge of the history. I laugh at GEEKO'S like you... LOL..!

You can't even compare Voltron to Power Rangers!!! Power Rangers were a joke and they copy the Voltron series.... I would watch a Voltron movie anytime vs lame ass Power Rangers...

GUYS.................. a Valtron movie was already made. "IT'S CALL POWER RANGERS". Think about it. Giant machine's.... uniting together... to battle a giant monster.... AND..... pulling out a Power Sword to fight and defeat the monster? The only difference would be the storyline.

Trust me. Most Americans are going to look at it as "just another Power Ranger movie".

love voltron, hate the artwork. they should stick to the original concept instead of trying to appeal to the kiddies today with all the extra eye candy. transformers movies sucked ass because of all the shit flying around on the screen (amongst cheesy one liners) and no real compelling story. I hope they dont ruin voltron as well, like the have ruined so many other stories.

I may not be an 80's kid, but I did see the original series. Dude, I have to see this movie. I know good anime when I see it and I have to see Voltron live action.
