In July 1970, two Russian scientists, Mikhail Vasin and Alexander Shcherbakov, published an article in the Soviet journal Sputnik entitled "Is the Moon the Creation of Alien Intelligence?" They advanced the theory that the Moon is not a completely natural world, but a planetoid that was hollowed out eons ago in the far reaches of space by intelligent beings possessing a technology far superior to ours. Huge machines were used to melt rock and form large cavities within the Moon, spewing the molten refuse onto the surface. Protected by a hull-like inner shell plus a reconstructed outer shell of metallic rocky junk, this gigantic craft was steered through the cosmos and finally parked in orbit around the Earth.

In their article Vasin and Shcherbakov wrote, "Abandoning the traditional paths of 'common sense,' we have plunged into what may at first sight seem to be unbridled and irresponsible fantasy. But the more minutely we go into all the information gathered by man about the Moon, the more we are convinced that there is not a single fact to rule out our supposition. Not only that, but many things so far considered to be lunar enigmas are explainable in the light of this new hypothesis" ].

"The Spaceship Moon Theory, also known as the Vasin-Shcherbakov Theory, is a pseudoscientific theory that claims the Earth's moon may actually be an alien spacecraft. The theory was put forth by two members of the then Soviet Academy of Sciences, Michael Vasin and Alexander Shcherbakov, in a July 1970 article entitled 'Is the Moon the Creation of Alien Intelligence?'.

Vasin and Shcherbakov's thesis was that the Moon is a hollowed-out planetoid created by unknown beings with technology far superior to any on Earth. Huge machines would have been used to melt rock and form large cavities within the Moon, with the resulting molten lava spewing out onto the Moon's surface. The Moon would therefore consist of a hull-like inner shell and an outer shell made from metallic rocky slag. For reasons unknown, the 'Spaceship Moon' was then placed into orbit around the Earth.

In 1975, Don Wilson published 'Our Mysterious Spaceship Moon' in which he compiled what he considered supporting facts for this theory". ].

@MsArgentana Pues la verdad, ahora... 'don't remember'. El caso es que tecleé en el google "luna horizontal" o algo así... y apenas salieron dos o tres hallazgos, y pertenecían a consultas realizadas por foreros extrañándose de tal fenómeno que al parecer habían presenciado en el 2005 y 2007 si no recuerdo mal.

Por otro lado hay un vídeo en YouTube donde se muestra la evolución de nuestro satélite durante los 365 días del año, y en NINGÚN momento muestra que adquiera esa posición.

@MsArgentana Pues si te digo la verdad, no me he fijado.

Sin embargo SÍ que me quedé flipado hace un par de meses -sobre el 24 al 27 de septiembre si no recuerdo mal-, cuando la ví en cuarto creciente -o menguante, porque no llevo la cuenta- TOTALMENTE horizontal, y con un planetita encima, a modo del tópico "sonrisa del gato de Alice in Wonderland".

He consultado esa configuración "lunática" por la web, y no he visto antecedentes más allá de uno o dos comentarios de sorpresa parecido al mío.

Bueno me lo escuchè todo porquè tenìa ese sonido cristalino de posible verdad.

Otro tema: no les parece a todos que la LUNA se està volviendo siempre màs chica?? Siempre màs lejana.

En estos dias està en la parte mas lejana de su orbita, siembargo tambien cuando se acerca parece mmuy lejos....que opinàs??

@MsArgentana La verdad es que ni idea, porque de momento ni he merodeado por la Luna, ni menos aún por su interior. Pero a la vista de este documento me queda patente que el Sr. Jiménez del Oso fue todo un pionero en asuntos relacionados con la ciencia y la historia oculta y ya quisieran muchos de sus actuales sustitutos -tipo Íker Jiménez, Enrique de Vicente y demás flora- alcanzar un millonésimo grado de la calidad y seriedad que supo dar este hombre a estos temas tan típicamente vilpendiados.

No creo tenga lava al interior...Ademàs es muy interesante otro video sobre el asunto que el diametro de la luna consiga ocultar el sol durante una eclipse por ser casi igual en la distancia.
