Martin Pope discovers whether Anne did write the attributed poem/ song 'O Death Rock Me Asleep' which history would have us believe that Anne wrote on her last night in the Tower of London, prior to her Execution on 19th May 1536. The video includes a very short clip of one of my heroes -- Dr Eric Ives, who's book 'The Life and Death of Anne Boleyn' has become something of a best friend to me!

  • Thats a fab idea. I dont approve of changing buildings, but I like it when the dress rooms apropriately and work artifacts into it... rather than just in cases etc. Bring it to life. Dances would be amazing, and fashion shows.. all amazing ideas... THANK THE LORD for people like you! The future is bright! :)

  • @ofcelticblood My god that is moronic. That 'arrogant scholar' has spent the body of his life's work researching this particular subject, and you think he doesn't 'know squat' because you can FEEL it when Kathy fucking Rose sings a song? Can you not see the stupidity there? You have to be joking...

  • I feel and believe that she wrote it or someone wrote it about her.

  • @fromthispoint Most americans, probably including you, emigrated from britain. Idiot.

  • I do think Anne wrote it. I feel it when it is sung by Kathy Rose. Ms. Rose does a beautiful rendering of this poem in song.

All these snobby, arrogant scholars don't know squat...........they read their dusty books and don't reach down into their souls. The poem is very French in tone which Anne enjoyed the French Court way more than the retraints of the Prudish and cold English court. Henry the VIII was a arrogant, self serving pig. He should have been the one on the chopping block.

  • I Think she wrote it b/c it makes alot of sense if she did...
