Alana Helping a stranger in need

A lady came in the office and was seeking financial assistance so she could get to the Childrens Mercy Center to see her daughter in the emergency unit. She said she already went to the YWCA, Doorstop, etc. and no one would help her.

I wouldnt have felt right in my spirit to just turn her away. So, since I was going to go to the bank to withdraw money during my lunch break, I figured, well, why not give her a little something to help her on her way. I walk in the door and I see nothing but info. about Pay It Forward all around me in the lobby.

I took advantage of this opportunity as a sign from God to do this. Ive already made my video, Ive given the money to the lady and I feel pretty good right about now! I come from a church that talks about Each One Teach One And Win Them To Christ; and I feel that by not only helping this woman in need, I also encouraged her in the Lord!

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of something that helps other people in need. Im an advocate of that and I truly believe by sowing this seed to this stranger; that it will come back to me in good measure!
