I loved the cinematic elements of Frank Miller's "Sin City" film so much, that the process and effects stuck in my head for days. I decided to replicate what I saw with what I have, and I think I did a decent job. You tell me.
I used sony vegas 7.0 and a sony miniDV handicam. I have yet to figure out how to add fake "shots" out of the air soft pistol, and I didn't bother doing a voice over yet. Probably won't get around to it. I'm a terrible writer.

  • that looked like pinnacle studio. Were the effects a combination of invert and threshold?

  • Yeah, it was invert, degauss, and others. I forget now. It's been awhile, but I used Sony Vegas.

  • that was lame. the opening credits did you justice, tho. CAWL MEH, WE'LL MAKE A REAL VIDEO.

  • Good work! needs some more recognition... Only thing as you said was to add a sound over clip for the gun shots, other than that, for an amatuer effort, GREAT!
