This is the SFX process montage for the film Iron Man 2 by Prologue films in LA. When I saw that the new Iron Man 2 film had no amazing end credit sequence, I was very unimpressed as I had been looking forward to it ever since it was announced that Prologue would be working on it again. I like the title sequence over the film but after the massive scale of the first credit sequence I felt partially let down by the lack of in the second film.

There was some small comfort to ease the pain however in the fact that Prologue in this film, produced some of the most impressive and amazing interactive SFX I have seen in films by a design agency. I love the use of new interactive screen based techniques and their attention to detail. The way they give us a glimpse into the future of computer interfaces and the level of interaction between Tony Stark and his computer based environment. This company for me is leading the way in both title sequence design and interactive SFX in films.

  • @DornDaniel Oh I know. What I meant was..."isn't it amazing what C.G.I. is capable of today?"

  • @TokyoNerd

But you cant have that interface in reallife yet. All computer generated

  • someones a hardcore iron man no life..

  • Isn't it amazing what is capable today?

  • not only mind blowing but i love the song, who is it?

  • @Pal2122 They already have it. its called Muliti Touch. Now its not 3d just yet but it wont be long untill it here. Like I say in the next 10 years or so. Hd tvs called around in 2000 or so. Bill Gates in I believe 1990 Was talking about how he was going to put this new Tech in his house which was HDTV. And look around 10 years later we have it. 10 years from now hd and 3d tvs will be like 250 bucks at your local walmart. We will have new tvs.

  • @Pal2122 Well think about it. 20 - 25 years ago, we had text based operating systems and Graphics programs that could draw a few polygons. Now we have systems, powerful enough to be able to render such fantastic effects. That in itself is quite an achievement. Maybe it will take more than a 100 years to perfectly refine the technology for everyday use. But I choose to be optimistic.. haha.

  • @chamolishashank sure i imagine we will have holographic technology in 20 years or so, but for the images to be detailed to the extent that we can interact with them and move them around like the way they do in this video, thats gonna take at least 100 years

  • @Pal2122 100 years? try 20! (Perhaps even sooner if we're lucky!)
