EDAM Observer training run, my first shot in front of Bob, was a good opportunity to check radio recording. Recording worked no problems with the autogain buzz a little annoying, but as clear as the radio was to me.

  • @advancedbiker hey Nigel. This was with a kenwood tk3201 and a bikersoracle aerial. Recording is via a custom autocom lead through a loop isolator to an Dogcamsport Angel Eyes Mini DVR1. Everything is battery powered. The buzz in quiet bits happens even if the recorder is nowhere near a running engine, and we think it might be due to autogain in the audio processing on the DVR1.

  • What radio are you using and remind me what are your recording the video the footage onto.
