hahahaha jacks mannequin or something corporate is my fav band, and andrew mcmahon has influenced me in soo many ways... but MAN did he fuck up his own lyrics. however, he is still the most epic person that i have ever seen/heard in my life, so i cant really complain. his music kicks TOTAL ass. andrew, you are fucking amazing, but i guess your memory isnt great. lol

@opethsoldier Jack is a family friend who has been through a ton of shit throughout his life, battling lukemia at 4 years old being one of them. Andrew was many years older than Jack, Jack is still alive and well - he was the best man and Andrew's wedding.

i remember reading when jacks mannequin first formed that this was the first song andrew wrote after soco broke up and this is where they got the name jacks mannequin from because he wrote it for a kid named jack who had lukemia and he was diagnosed with it himself a few months later. hence, he is jacks mannequin. ive been looking for a way to hear this song for three years. im so glad he decided to finally start playing it
