Michelle Bachmann House Call Press Conference 11/05/2009. Walking toward The Capitol.

(AT ABOUT THE 2:12 MARK IN THIS VIDEO WE CREST CAPITOL HILL AND YOU CAN SEE AN OVERVIEW OF THE CROWD; IT GIVES A GOOD IDEA OF THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ASSEMBLED HERE TODAY) We came up out of the Capitol South Metro Station and headed up between the House Office Buildings toward the Capitol. As we arrived at the South side of the Capitol we walked on the South Lawn toward the West Steps where the press conference with Representative Bachmann was to be held. We expected a much smaller crowd than we encountered. As we crest the hill heading toward the West side of the capitol, we are amazed to see a crowd of 70,000 to 80,000 or more, including many representatives of the various media along with lots and lots of average citizens.
