This is a demo of the Big Tone Music Brewery Royal Beaver Big Muff clone played over David Gilmour's On an Island. I'm using a Fender CIJ '50s Stratocaster with Fender CS69 neck and mid pickups and a Duncan SSL5 bridge pickup into a Laney Cub12 15w stack adding a Boss DD2.

  • Does the Laney cub handle all pedals well? Can i use a big muff+tube driver with it for example?

  • @TheDolovan

I've no problems with it but keep in mind that you may have to tweak their settings a bit compared to what you'd have on bigger amps etc. On the Laney, which I mostly use at home on low levels, I set the gain on the Muff slightly higher and the TD for a fairly mild clean boost. My normal settings is too much.

  • BLS shirt?

  • @CBamProductions

    Yeah!

  • @BjornRiis Interesting music taste; Pink Floyd and BLS, two things I never thought I'd see in the same place lol. Also, nice playing, Bjorn, and if you can, upload some more Airbag videos!

LOL! I've been a huge fan of Zakk since he first started to play with Ozzy in '88. Although very different to David, Wylde's taste for tone is the same.

Check out the Airbag Facebook page for lots of new clips! Cheers!

  • Great sound and playing there!!! Again, I have a couple of questions:

It seems to me you're playing a bit above bedroom levels, just for reference, what was the volume knob set to in your amp? Would you get similar results with the <1W input?

    Thanks!!!

  • its jack black

  • it sounds better slow imho

  • Damn! The tone is out of this world!
