Your footage was viewed by an extraordinary team of 27 multi-lingual film-makers. Not content just to view your footage, some of these researchers are now creating some of their own for you to view. They've made a series of short films inspired by the theme 'Life in a Day" We'll be showcasing some of these on our channel over the coming weeks. In this first film, director Patrick Timmons Ward watches life pass by with William Mulready,19th Century Irish painter, at a cemetery in London.

don't be so quick to judge

  • I think this is a representation of Mankind. We come into this world born into a society in some part of the world (i.e. he was from Ireland). We have aspirations (i.e the man's proffession was an artist). The author tries to depict life as a sense of good vs. evil (i.e. he shows the word "friends" & "enemies"). And he repeats the word fate suggesting some sort of higher force is directing us through life and ultimately to our death. My interpretation of the video is: One's life is fated.
