hey i took aprt a cobalt and it has 2 timing chains. the 1 doesnt do anything at all what could it be for i was thinking for balance

@MrLj410 some engines have a timing belt or chain and a ballancer belt to stop vibration.

I've heard that a 6.0 powerstroke doesnt have a timing belt or chain. Is this true?

@Taunuslunatic yea, you can change the whole engine out too if you want to. Me, I replace worn parts and leave the good ones on.

I guess its a gamble.

My flexhead ratchet w/ the long handle was my most favorite commonly-used tool back when I was a mechanic. Great vid! :)

sohc motors are too easy, though a dohc is not hard either. This was a great video. Though it doesn't work for everything, its great for getting an idea of what's going on, props.
