@HeavySabre70 It's not a term meant to diss the band. Shoegaze bands are called shoegaze bands because they're constantly looking down at the many guitar pedals they have to operate.

I despise the term 'shoegazer'.It was just a crap word invented by some non-musician from the UK music media.I'm Australian & most of us had never heard that word until the internet became part of mainsteam life and had never associated anything like the meaning of that word to amazing groups like RIDE or MBV.Just because they don't run up and down huge stages like S.Tyler or feel they have to perform like cliche rock stars.How can you be a RIDE fan and still refer to them as shoegazers?

And they missed their cue on Seagull that night too!
