Republicans had 8 years to address real solutions to health care and they did diddly squat. it was more important to make up stories about Iraq, spend billions every month on War that had nothing to do with 9/11 etc. and now their main concern is fiscal responsibility and "real reform" when it wasn't even in the vocabulary prior to the last campaign.

Charles Boustany is another hack and recipient of lobbyist cash from the health care industry. Ask him would he do a life saving heart surgery on someone that didn't have insurance, ask him does he accept medicaid, the answer to both is NO! He could care less about your health. He's just another doctor in it for the money and everyday wipes his ass with the hippocratic oath.

I guess because Obama said they are lying then i guess its the truth. The politicians read this thing but the white house wont let us HMMMM sounds fishy to me. Its all about votes. The democrats want the lower class to rely on them so they can get votes. Its politics 101. Let the american people vote and we will see what happens

But its not competition when one of the companies doesnt need to make money. We have no money in our government!!! Tell me how we will pay for this? Americans have wizened up.THEY DONT WANT GOVERNMENT CONTROL! Medicare and Medicaid doesnt work what makes us think this will be different. The reason why cost are so high is because the government dosent pay there whole bill to the doctors. So in turn the doctors over charge insurance. We will not see a "CHANGE" in medical cost from this bill.

I guess because they dont look like you want them to then that means their credibility is shot. Good thinking Mr liberal. I guess when libs are not smart enough they resume to insults about looks.

Not at all- I'm just stating fact-- this guy really does look like Pee Wee Herman, Jindal did carry himself like Mr. Rogers and the other guy did hang out w/prostitutes. And on top of it all, their credibility seems suspect.

What we NEED to do is stop relying on the government to fix all our problems. They stepped in because they thought we NEEDED to own our own house. Then the economy went into recession They NEED to keep out of our lives and we NEED to stop relying on them to fix everything. We have no money if you didnt hear. The debt in america keeps growing not getting any better. We NEED to take care of our selves eat right workout and stop eating smoking and drinking ourselves to death thats why cost are high

Got a question for you, if the answer was that simple, then why did Lance Armstrong need treatment for cancer? I'd say he's a very healthy specimen of a human being. But he still needed critical health care that saved his life. Good thing he had insurance and plenty of cash to throw at the problem, but there are millions who don't, and we're seeing what happens when we leave an industry such as the health insurance to it's own vises. We don't need'em to fix all our problems, just this one.
