I'm always confused when my fellow Children of the Eighties hold guys like Cobra Commander and Skeletor up has great villains. Sure Cobra Commander 'wassss once a maaaan!' but the what the hell did Skeletor ever do?
So I give to you, Mumm-Ra, the baddest, scariest villain to ever grace saturday morning and be immortalized in plastic.
The only other 80s villain who comes close is Megatron, but he got killed as soon as he started racking up a body count.

Holy shit Mumm-Ra was a badass! Did he just vapourize Cheetara? I'm surprised this kind of thing made it to Saturday morning TV.

It will be interesting to see how the new Thundercats series will show Mumm-Ra. Hope that he will be as menacing as he is in the original cartoons.
Mumm-Ra gave me nightmares when I was younger watching the show.
