  • It's amazing. Even back then Paul Lynde didn't try to hide his homosexuality, he didn't flaunt it but he never really tried to keep it a secret. and guess what. No one seemed to care. He was a huge celebrity and it seemed everyone loved him. It seemed his sexuality just didnt matter....and thats the way it should be.

  • It ain't no secret. Even then! haha

  • @TroyBilt007 Very well put. Exactly.

  • What was Paul's secret? That he was gay?

  • I don't understand you ppl. I love his "homo thing" & he was always way cute to me. I remember him well from when I was a little kid. He was the voice of Templeton the rat in Charlotte's Web, and he did all the Ore Ida frozen potato commercials back then. He did a lot of stuff. I've always loved him.

  • A funny, funny man. God's speed Mr. Lynde.

  • IT SKIPPED 0:45

  • "I'm planning to die by having a heart attack while having sex with a young man I paid for."

    Wow, he was right.

  • @TroyBilt007 His sexuality? What sex uality? He was flamboyant, yes!

But he never had any sex appeal to scare away the straight people or threaten anybody.

If anything, he just perpetuated the stereotype of a gay man.

Now had Rock Hudson, Anthony Perkins, or Tab Hunter, etc. etc. been so brave, then there would have been an uproar because then they would have been considered a threat because they were good looking and not comedians.

  • @younghoss - i believe she was even the voice of Ursula in The Little Mermaid, although I am sure nobody is reading these posts anymore lol

  • An incredibly talented man. Gave many people the joy of a laugh. Gay or straight, black or white, male or female- it doesn't matter. Those who give us the gift of laughter are always a most welcome friend. Paul Lynde was a great talent. God's speed good sir.
