A woman fatally shot her Alzheimer's disease-suffering mother three years ago, burned the body and then had her son bury the remains _ which she had placed in a suitcase _ before filing a missing person report, authorities said Thursday. (Dec. 18)

You do realize that there are legal ways to dispose of old people. Simply admit them to an old people home and Social Security will take care of the bill. By the way, what kind of idiot lets an alzheimer patient have access to a gun. Sounds to me like a creative story.

This is our American health care , that is it. Marijuana helps stop Alzheimers, it is illegal, free healthcare and help for people like this is also illegal in our Christian nation of morals.

My grandmother has Alzheimers...real, hardcore alzheimers. Until you've actually had to deal with it on a daily basis (and my gran's had it for over 20 years, now), you have no idea what goes into something like this. Alzheimers is incredibly stressful for the carers and while I don't approve of what's happened here, I can understand why it might have been done.
