I was just playing "Riven: The sequel to Myst", and activated its easter eggs. there was this one where a part of this commercial comes on, at about 0:12 to 0:15 before a '50s silly putty commercial takes its place. did anyone know about that?

I was at a dinner tonight ..and a conversation about colognes came up...and some how Hai Karate came into my mind... My father used it in the late 60s(we were then living in Toronto,Canda)I think i even gave him the stuff as a gift on various occasions, like Fathers' Day ....You tube is wonderful because of this...you can really go back and see " icons" of your childhood. Smelled kinda lemon limey IIRC. I was just a kid but my grand dad had this shit, and some German Nazi aftershave he picked up in the war. The Nazi stuff smelled like hard liquor and steel. The Hai Karate was horrible.

Since I can remember I have always heard folks on tv joke about hai karate lol. Wish I could've smelled it though. Guess I was born too late. And what is everyone in here talking about? Axe smells great. Use it all the time.

I remember seeing this ad when I was a kid. It's a good thing I was to young to shave back then and it's also a good thing Hai Karate is no longer around because it smelled pretty bad. At least that's what I've heard. I don't know if it smelled like Axe because Axe aftershave seems to not be around here in the U.S. Does anybody know? I'll check Ebay.

Nope this was a real commercial this was the AXE of the 70's my big brother used to where this back when I was little,LOL!!!!!
