Kenny Washington visited the Zildjian Factory to talk more in depth about the new Zildjian 22" K Constantinople Bounce Ride. Along with Zildjian's Paul Francis, we learn about the origins of the cymbal and how it was made while getting high-quality sound samples of the cymbal played with and without rivets and with wood tip and nylon tip sticks.

  • Beware Zildjian people... Sabian is innovating further...

  • In the world of music, Kenny Washington is most certainly a force to be reckoned with. My ears don't lie.

  • too many angry/jealous musicians here... K Wash is the man!

  • If Zildjian were smart they would start altering the underlying allow, rather than just changing the hammering, lathing, finish.

  • awsum ness kenny mean cymbal

  • Are both those cymbals 22 inches? Anyone...?

  • @MrBoneyhands Haha good one, really ;) You're so creative! And the name calling really helps drive your point!

  • @BleepYouTwo No he doesn't cock boy.

  • @BleepYouTwo No, I'm not very good. And I'm certainly not an etymologist, but it doesn't take an expert to know that that word is a verb. Go to dictionarydotcom and look at the word used a verb in the present tense with or without an object. Or go jump off a cliff. Or both. And Washington looks nothing like Mike Tyson.

  • @drumrnva And you still can't use it in a present tense, even when trying to make an example. Good job, you're a regular etymologist. The context in which you used it the first time, was very much the wrong verb to use. And often used by unskilled, cocky drummers too. Just seeing you say it, lets me know that you're probably not very good.
