two things spring to mind when I hear this:
1) it's a special thing to see music flow through people like that. It's as close to raw musical expression as I've ever seen
2) what a shame that more people around the world have not heard anything like this, and that the most 'popular' music just doesn't hold a candle to what we're treated to here.
Her smile is infectious, and I love that she can't stop jumping around when she's not playing.

@brownadam26 are you really sure about that? Perhaps she has a few directions she knows she wants to take it in advance, but I'd be stunned if it sounded the same if she were to do the whole thing again.

@RoiekY When your as good as Hiromi, nothing is improvisation. I'm not sure if you're a piano player, but every piano player that's really good knows the best solos come from practicing the solo so many times that all the licks are routine. So, it's impressive the way she conceived the the licks, and her precision, but at the end of the day there's really nothing magical.
