Draft Horse Pull at Falkland BC

These European work horses are huge, some weighing in at more 1,500 pounds. I love to watch them when they are getting ready to pull the sled and the horses start prancing before the pull. These draft Horses are spectacular animals.

@sweetstrider thats why when the hoof hits a certain growing point, you take the shoe off, trim it right, and put a new one on! my goodness! How magical! Annndd it does not send a vibration, sweety. Shoes are not cruel. Just depends on the horses feet. I have a horse that cannot go without shoes outside of the winter season. And my uncle has a horse that will not wear shoes, and doesn't need them because his feet are so tough. Depends on the horse

LMAO! ANIMAL Abuse???!? Fuck no, these beautiful horses are bread for this sh*t. Most of them enjoy it, it's like training a dog to protect, or a cat to hunt mice. Not all horses though, but usually they can pull more than twice their weight. :) its how farmers did shit back in the day.

@TheKampfkeksi For your information, I attend monty roberts schooling at his farm in california. I do not hurt my animals, ESPECIALLY NOT MY HORSES. I was just giving my oppinion. And I gave it in a very harsh way. I am sorry. I do not thing we will ever agree on much, but I believe it is good that you stick strong to your beliefs, it was good talking with you :)

@TheKampfkeksi (continued) and no i don't believe anything the media tells me, but SHARK is not part of this media.SHARK is a non-profit organization and receives no government funding and completely relies on donations (taken from website). they put their videos up on YT because they have no intention to make money from it, rodeo people make money from convincing people that rodeo isn't cruel, because the more people they can convince, the more will buy a ticket and watch rodeos.

@rodeoqueen1300 first of all i'm a vegan (which mean i don't eat anything that comes from animals including eggs, milk etc). if you want to think like that about SHARK, ok, i prob won't change your mind and third i don't believe in any god...i watch these videos to inform myself about how cruel rodeos are, i don't enjoy it. what i enjoy is trainig my horses based on the theory of monty roberts and building a relationship with them. take some time and try it out it's magical =)
