  • Criticizing Brett Manning is like telling your father how to make babies.

  • wide vocal range is not everything. we can sing very well with only 2 octave voice.

  • What the shit is this? I make the same noises effortlessly when teasing my dog...

I googled "octave" hoping to get some insight on Freddie Mercury... and end up with some drunkard in a studio...

  • Well, i don't wanna waste time and money...

i'm doing the exercises and I can sing till B flat, but when I sing a song I can sing just until G, Why??? :(

  • i would love to learn the whistle register

  • Cbluesrocker, my thoughts exactly, especially when he actually does NOT sing in this video presentation, he basically emits sounds (notes), not sings them in any manner whatsoever

  • @Cbluesrocker agree

  • @fbendz Lol. Well said! Comes with the internet territory, though. Meh...

  • Yeah... guys. Nobody would ever sing with all 6 of these octaves. You would use 3 or 4... MAYBE 5. It's just a cool video showing VOCAL range. Not singing range.

  • @AlcraineProductions Yeah, I`ve seen awesome backing vocals with this kind of techniques

Someone need to build a bigger keyboard for Brett Maning :P

  • those who dislike this are certainly not singing... this is not about how to sing beautiful rahter just how to use the technique...of course you don't need 6octaves...tell me a song using it....but if your range is wider the middle register of your voice will have better quality and it will be easier to use...so don't perceive this technical exercise as a performance!!!

  • amazing!
