  • thats not a nissan skyline, my R50 5speed pathfinder does 0-100 in 7 seconds with nothing but a ram intake, skyline stock does 0-100 in 6, the acceleration in this video is a disgrace, its that of a corolla not a nissan skyline like the title claims

  • @3antaralhatab lol, it's auto, manual would do 5.x secs ;)

  • @waleediii yeh but my first car was auto and it did 0-100 in 6,5 like it was nothing (monte carlo ss supercharged), was the road shitty or somethin? it should still be able to do it faster than a pathfinder.. i mean pathfinder wasnt designed to accelerate fast at all especially with the vg33 engine

  • @3antaralhatab mmhmm, respecet, i love monte carlos. na this was a sad time for skylines, they became boring family cars, a picture of the car is at the end of the video. until recently when the beast GTR35 came out, older skylines, even non turbo twin cam ones are way faster than this heavy slab. pathfinders do have brilliant engines, straight 6 twin cam right?

  • @waleediii I agree, these new 'skylines' arent skylines, more family shitboxes :( my mate just bought one recently, and unless it has a good body kit and irms like a few that I saw at the shop, I cant really consider it to be a 'nice' car in my books. no offence cuz you own one (dont you?), I drove my mates one, and its powerful as F***, but thats cuz I drive a saab 4cyl 2.3l piece os sh*t :P

  • @waleediii naaah R50 pathfinder came commonly came with a VG33e V6 single overhead cams which isnt powerfull (170hp) but had lots of torque, the 2002 pathfinders is when they started putting the VQ35DE which is a dual overhead cam design your thinking about (250hp), the VG family is not as powerfull but more reliable (less complex), also the R51 pathfinders have a V8 option (VQ40 and later the VK56, 4.0L and 5.6L), they look nice but arent as "raw" as the older pathfinders for offroading

  • Interesting timing method, I timed it with my watch from when the rev counter shifted off idle until the speed crossed 100ks and i recorded 9 seconds. Also you need to know that the Nissan speedos are generous and 100ks indicated is only about 94kmh. I own a 350GT with a CVT transmission and it's about 7.5 secs to 100ks.
