Sarah Vaughan (1924-1990) sings "That Old Black Magic," penned in 1942 by Harold Arlen (1905-1986) and Johnny Mercer (1909-1976). Mercer wrote the lyrics with Judy Garland (Mercer's occasional lover) in mind.

  • I love the 1940's Female singers who have that "Wispy-Virginal" quality to their singing. Ms. Vaughn has all of that PLUS she absolutely kicks butt.
