Haven't flown in a while, i think i'm gonna start recording my progress.... This is a flight from Austin (KAUS) to Dallas/Ft Worth INTL (KDFW.) I just downloaded this plane today, and its a good one except for one thing.... When i have the screen set up like this for recording, my other screen is full of gauges, so as you can tell at the end, its one of the worst landings i've done since i started a few years ago... I did a few more flights i will upload soon that were okay, but all with bad landings because i couldn't see anything... gotta figure this out...

Oh, and sorry about the quality, i just used my iPhone's camera, i put my iPhone in a coffee mug to hold it up, and stood that on 2 books to get the right height... I just formatted my computer and dont yet have my screen recorder installed....

  • Yeah, i just downloaded it before i made this video and added all the call signs, i was going to do the voice packs as well but the call signs took a while and i was wanting to fly... How'd i do though, i have learned this all entirely on my own with only the help from youtube... I know my landing was awful in this video, but how was the rest?

  • how did u download this

  • @tf51d Sorry that should be AVSIM . com.

  • You should update your ATC with editvoicepack. The phraseology is more realistic. For example it has FAA and ICAO variations, It adds wind to takeoff instructions. I made a couple of mods to it myself, available on ASVSIM FSX Sound library, that adds wind to landing clearance and expected flight level to clearance delivery instructions. Other options are products like Radar Contact, VOXATC, or ProFlight 2000 Emulator (PFE), all are even more realistic, but doesn't sound as good, except for PFE!
