Nothing spelled more "ELVIS" than his fabulous jumpsuits, designed by the late Bill Belew and Gene Doucette.

Fit For a King isthe story behind the legendary Elvis Jumpsuits. This is truly a unique documentary, with wonderful stories about "Fame, Fashion and Friendship".

This documentary takes you behind the scenes, with unseen pictures and footage, untold stories and unique interviews, featuring Bill Belew and Todd Morgan. From the Black leather 68 suit to Ali's Elvis Robe, and from the missing Aloha cape to the last jumpsuit Elvis ever wore -- it is all here, as told by the original designers, and by Butch and Kim Polston, owners/founders of B&K Enterprises.

The documentary also shows footage shot in Graceland, and focuses on the extraordinary display of original stage suits in Memphis.

  • Like to thank you and your family for sharing this documentary.came across it by chance.like what you said to your wife you would like to own a jump suit, and not a car.I would have said the same, like to touch one of the jumpsuits never mind own one very well made.enjoyed the story god bless you all at BK enterprisescanada from Tony tcb1 England.

  • @tonytcb1 Tony, I'm so glad that you enjoyed the documentary! Butch would still rather have one of Elvis' jumpsuits than a car if he had he choice! His biggest dream is to own one of them, and he's still hoping that it will eventually come true. Maybe some day your dream will come true--just keep hoping! Kim

  • Hey Kim,

Looks like we’re both cancer sisters! I'm only 25 but 2011 has been a horrible year heath wise. I've had two bouts of cancer (about six apart) and am in radiation as we speak. But I can't complain it's all in the lord's plan and I have my Elvis ballads and gospel music of the 70's to get me though this. This is why some day I wan Gene to design me a suit with pink ribbons on it that’s the only way I know how to give back to the man and his music I love.

    God bless,

    Hugs,

    Allison

  • @allisonthecat Allison--it's so nice to hear from you! I'm so sorry to hear that you're having to go through this--especially for a second time! I firmly believe that a positive attitude has a great deal to do with the outcome of many illnesses--so stay positive!

I'm sure Gene would be honored to design just such a suit for you when you are ready for it.

Good luck and God Bless you!

  • @BKenterprisescanada Your right thinking positive thought's counteract all the negativity around you. Plus there is something magical in Elvis's gospel music that gives me undeniable strength. His music just seems to give people strength in general to go out and conquer a bit of the world, which is why I think there are so many ETA's out there. When I get the money, , I'll come to you guys so I can then have something to show people the power of positive thinking and EP's music.

  • @allisonthecat

That's so true! His music does seem to inspire so many people! We will look forward to seeing you, Allison. Have a wonderful Holiday and a Happy and Healthy New Year!

    Dian,

Thanks very much for your compliments! Andy did an excellent job putting the documentary together, and we take great pride in the work that we do on the costumes. Everyone that works with us is very dedicated to turning out the best product possible--and I think that it shows in the work that we do. Again, thank you!
