Well, severe thunderstorms affected the Philadelphia/New York Metropolitan area today, so Trainiac Productions took advantage of the interesting weather to get a unique shot of the NorthEast Corridor action! In this clip, we see an eastbound Amtrak Northeast Regional with HHP8 #652 leading. The friendly engineer gave a few nice blasts of the HHP8's K5LA. I had a large box over my head, which I shared with the camera.

Luckily, I managed to catch this shot only moments before a lightning strike not too far from the station. That explains why there aren't more clips!

Enjoy!

  • More time devoted to the logo than the train.

  • @philglassfan This was uploaded over a year ago before I knew how stupid this whole video would appear. Please check out some of my newer videos to (hopefully) get a more positive view of my stuff.
