I've watched quite a few of your videos so far (still watching!). I've got Richard's website saved in my computer as reference. We play here and I plan to buy some from him to add to our collection. And BTW, you play beautifully!!! I bet it's nice to actually be friends with the person who made these beautiful flutes that you play. You defenetly hav a nitch for playing. Never put it down. :)

I think if I would've been the people passing/running by, as I would hear those awesome sounds I would just stop and watch them mesmerized how they're playing and be completely in a hypnotic state lol.

Wow!!! That's some cool playing from the both of you! I love the snappy trills you were playing and would love to figure out how you did that!
Awesome playing!

This makes up for all the mediocre and bad NA Flute videos cluttering up YouTube.

Piriajeoshi, no doubt about it , Richard sure can play a flute, but don't sell yourself short , from what i can see, you certainly can hold your own (pun intended).your vids sure inspire me to play my flute more. Thanks , john h

Just thought I would comment on this vid. Great job. You are both very talented. I always wondered how it would sound though if one person was to play a low bass flute in the background and then another person play a higher tone flute in the foreground, at the same time.

Thank you for your wonderful comments! Re: a contrabass/high flute duet, it mostly comes down to what you choose to play, and where. That combination can produce both great and not-so-great results. The players should have an ensemble mindset instead of a soloist one if each is to play simultaneously. Also, big, echoey places like this aren't kind to contrabass sounds - they becomes an indistinguishable muddy mess. That said, it CAN sound superb if the players are sensitive to these factors.
