I actually only failed "Save Jody" once or twice on normal, about a dozen or so on hard... but i played for 6 HOURS STRAIGHT TRYING TO BEAT IT ON VERY HARD. You have to do it PERFECTLY on that level. You cannot miss a single canister or even touch a single wall or pillar. All your boosting has to be spot-on as well, too. Anything less than perfection on that level simply won't cut it.

i know the gate crushed me on very hard...i'm always a few miliseconds off. i also played it for about 6 hours on that difficulty before saying screw this. i think that your not supposed to strafe in it because it slows you down more.
