Utter shite ! I am with the Stratking on this one. Quite possibly the most pretentious rubbish ever performed at this annual event. I was there too and like so many others I stuck it for a while before drifting off to the blues tent ! Thank God there were some decent bands there ( I think one was Cheerie Lee Louis and the other was the Blues Shift........both a million times better than this appalling tripe )

The Enid are an exceptional band with a back catalogue which is a bit inconsistent but frequently brilliant. If you don't get them, that's just your hard luck. I do.

Considering the amount of records The Enid produced, plus the amount of bands that get a chance via The lodge studios.. They are one of the best bands in the UK musically and as an inspiration to many new bands.

The comments on here from a certain individual just show his basic lack of intelligence. There's no need to slag off music that other people love just because you dont get it. I know i wouldn't. For the record, The Enid are probably the best British band over the last 35 years, and Robert Godfrey the best British composer too. Unfortunately some of their youtube clips dont do them justice due to some poor sound quality on here. Check out the album Arise and Shine or go see them live. Cheers !
