The M60A1 running at an idle after sitting 6 years, letting the engine and components generate a bit of heat befoer the vehicle is moved.   • It's nice to see that , that M-60A1 is still running & preserved . I served on that exjact tank in the early seventys . When the tank was latest thing we had going . Later the M-60A2 came out in 1975 in Europe . My unit introduced them in country. We were the first to break them in overseas . The A - deuce , as we use to call them had a Shilaley 155 mm missle and a short gun tube . The turret was reconfigured it was kind of square and had four hatches , even the gunner had a hatch . Great Days .
