"Do You Trust Your Wife?" originally aired on CBS from January, 1956 to March, 1957 and was emceed by Edgar Bergen. The show (under the same name) was later emceed by Johnny Carson on ABC from September, 1957 to July, 1958. A later version of the show, "Who Do You Trust?," aired on ABC from July, 1958 to December, 1963. Carson and Ed McMahon left in September, 1962 to do The Tonight Show. A quiz show, married couples answered trivia questions. The name of the show is derived from an aspect of the game in which the husband decides whether to answer the trivia question himself or trust his wife. There are some very colorful contestants in this episode, including one man who teaches fencing for a living and another who earns his living as a pitchman. Of course, Carson is entertaining and gets off some good one liners. This video brought to you by hwy61media. Please take a moment to rate this movie and add your comments. • Johnny was good at being a game-show host! Maybe this would have been his occupation had it not been for The Tonight Show. But then, we would have missed out on his genius.

  • Emceed by Edgar Berge is incorrect. That is Bill Nimmo

  • @utube44439 Except it was an ad for Disneyland the TV show, not the park.

  • Ethel Merman! Man, a free trip anywhere? Cool prize. I didn't know Land Cameras were already out in 1957. Seemed pretty new when my dad got one in the early 70s.
