Freddie Hubbard's 1979 album, "The Love Connection" . It was originally released on the Columbia label and features performances by Hubbard, Tom Scott, Buddy Collette, Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke with Al Jarreau providing vocals.

Frederick Dewayne Hubbard (7 April 1938 29 December 2008), was an American jazz trumpeter. He was known primarily for playing in the bebop, hard bop and post bop styles from the early 60s and on. His unmistakable and influential tone contributed to new perspectives for modern jazz and bebop.

Freddie Hubbard's original composition of "Little Sunflower" was first released on his 1967 Album "Backlash", his first album with the Atlantic label.

  • Isn't this the same melody to Manhattan Tranfer's "Quietude?" or is the song's name something else. I don't know... jus sounds familiar.
