This is my version of the Chen Pan-ling taichichuan short form. This 42 movement form was designed by Chen's son, Chen Yun-ching 陳雲慶, and the director of the 99 Taichichuan Association, Huang Yu-cheng 黃裕盛. The form is comprised of moves 1-37 and 94-99 from the traditional 99 movement Chen Pan-ling form. The idea was to create a short form for competition and health that preserved the traditional characteristics of Chen Pan-ling's taichi. The form was in no way meant to "wushu-ified" or spruced up with prettier movements for competition or demonstration purposes.
This was my first ever taichi tourney performance and although not my best performance, it shows what I was capable of that day. The flow and postures are as correct as I could make them then but I highly recommend that you sink more into your stances than I was capable of doing that day. Unfortunately, a medical condition flared up and hindered my flexibility. So please don't take the version shown as a benchmark.
Enjoy the performance.
