I wake up to the damage of all of my Stowell's evergreen corn. Birds are eating corn and tomatoes.

  • Not good. I would be upset if I came out to see my corn damaged and eaten up like that. This is my first year with corn and I am surprised that the critters didn't get to them.

  • @chicagocindybuddie Yeah I was a little mad as I was looking forward to having fresh grown corn in the next 2 weeks or so. I never knew they would eat all of it that quick as last night it was fine. I guess I will have to have a scarecrow next year. I seen your video of your corn 2 weeks ago and it looked good! Keep those rat birds away from your corn and good luck!

  • Bummer! best advice is don't grow corn, they will b back n back...4 the tomatoes I used bird netting last year, but think it was a chipmunk afterall...seemed to work though.
