Baby Pigeon Progress

These are two babies I'm handfeeding. They were in the aviary but were being attacked and it got too cold a few nights ago when they were little so I brought them in. You can see how much they grown from two weeks to three weeks. The gourd is a training device. I shake it when they get fed. This way when they learn to fly they'll know to come home when they hear the gourd. It means lunch time. They are cute because they snuggle up to it thinking it's got food.

The formula I use is Kaytee Exact Hand Feeding Formula for baby birds. It's available at most major U.S. pet stores.
