The suede leather (as opposed to the glossy plastic/patent leather) uppers last longer and look better as they wear out.
I'm just starting on my 2nd pair of Osiris Bronx for skating, and they area good compromise between support and weight, durability and flexibility. You can't have a perfect feeling, light weight shoe in a high top.

i use to have a pair. there ok to skate in but the feel of the board isnt the best because there so thick but after skating in em for a while they get better but i prefer some thinner/ smaller ones
