Getting newcomers for the male leads is good, in fact, in all of the versions the male leads are relatively new to the industry or atleast new to acting. The male lead's appearance is the reason of their fame right now, the female lead is ALWAYS the veteran in the cast in every versions, and IT'S ALWAYS THE EXCITEMENT & THE MYSTERY about the male leads that people watch out for the show.,

I heard abs-cbn got the rights for this remake. the reason why it's not announced yet is because these are still on the planning stage. and they're following the 3 year distance for every version, na patakaran ng may ari ng rights which is Ms. Yoko Kamio. as you guys can still remember, pinalabas ang BOF last 2009. so expect this remake would come out anytime between the last quarter of 2012 or 2013.
